2014 BARBADOS SECONDARY SCHOOLSâ€™ ENTRANCE EXAMINATION RESULTS
Our top Female student is Aisha Waterman(J4T) and our top Male student is Leonard Oâ€™Garro (J4L).
57 students sat the examination. Our average in English was 86% whilst the National average was 64.9%. In Mathematics our average was 87% - the National Average 57.6%. Of the fifty-seven students that sat the examination, 40 were awarded their 1st to 3rd choices and 17 their 4th to 6th choices.
48 students scored over 80% in English and 46 over 80% in Mathematics.

Once again the J3 studentsâ€™ Science projects covered a wide range of extremely interesting topics, as can be seen from a few of the titles below. They all put in a tremendous amount of work and effort and are all to be congratulated, even though some had to be singled out for special awards. Certificates were presented to all the students in our final Assembly.

St Gabrielâ€™s girl Under-12 chess champ
A GIRL has won the United Insurance Primary School Under-12 Chess Championship for the first time.
St Gabrielâ€™s student Pritika Kandamaran emerged champion from a field of more than 20 players when the tournament was contested at the St Michael School recently.
Kandamaran put together an unbroken string of 12 victories in her last two tournaments.(exerpt from nationnews.com)
